Bellgab demanded the show spot after Art Bell but was satiated when one of their own was made producer instead. Ross quits saying he was never paid even though he said in the beginning that it was an upaid job. Sockpuppet accounts on bellgab claim that RCH has an ego and told Ross to put his mother before the show. It was later revealed that Ross spent his time talking to his mom on the phone during the show instead of working on it. Livid, the bellgab members began a harassment campaign against RCH. They began an email campaign to Keith Rowland to get him to cancel the show. He refused. They started several shows with the hopes that they could be replacements but they all fizzled out. They started a campaign to get people to cancel their 19.5 subscriptions.
They begin harassing RCH live on air during open lines. RCH says that Ross signed an NDA and shouldn't be talking about stuff. Ross denies signing an NDA but says he can't go into specifics. He then infers that Art Bell asked him to start the on air harassment campaign. Art makes a post on bellgab throwing RCH under the bus. This all goes very badly and makes them look like a bunch of assholes so they decide to blame 4chan instead. This is the beginning of their "blame 4chan for everything" strategy.

A deal with Cumulus Media to bring MITD to late night syndication was weeks away and is now off. The official sanctioned MITD forum Midnight Fans changes its name to Paranormal Forum and asked Rowland to remove their weblink from Art's site.

Bellgab is now in full civil war. The majority don't support Heather's show. The majority don't buy Art's story about a stalker. The media reports that the police have already closed the case due to lack of evidence. Rumors spread that Art is having an affair with Heather. An emgerency Gabcast is held later that night by the forum owner MV. MV is disinterested in his own site and doesn't know what's going on and has a guest from bellgab on to break it down for him. The guest says that they all love and support Art and that it's 4chan that is picking on him. Without any trace of irony he then says that 4channers set a side their time to listen to Art at night and now that he's not on they don't know what to do with themselves. MV says he doesn't care anymore and that bellgab is there to make him money. He enourages all 4channers to join his site because more pageviews equal more ad impressions. He then concludes his stream by reading a five minute advertisement for e-cigs.

Heather Wade is now being trolled by /x/philes during open lines. One night she had a past life regression specialist on who claimed to be a black slave in a past life. An epic new maymay is born as /x/philes call in the show to sing old negro spiratuals.
Bellgab now in full on civil war. Compelete paranoia about 4chan. Anyone that doesn't support Heather is believed to be from 4chan. When called out on how it was ok for them to harass RCH on air but now they're booty-blasted that /x/ is doing the same thing to Heather, they respond that that's "different".
On Christmas Eve Art shows up on bellgab and now mentions 4chan. He says the stuff posted here is slander and talks of lawsuits. Art Bell threads on /x/ are now being pruned. He shames bellgab for ever associating with us. He then quits bellgab for a second time.
He begins posting again five hours laster. He shitposts well into four in the morning. After being called out for having his syncophants call into Hoagland and Church's show and harass them he says that prank calls are ok "everyone gets them". He now says he wasn't made at the pranks on Heather's show, just the threads about her. He asks bellgab to be nice to Heather since she has been a long time member in good standing.

When Art was getting reading to go on SiriousXM in 2013 Ross made some unsolicited promotional videos for Dark Matter. They were amateurish using consumer grade software. Art like them and struck up an internet friendship with Ross thinking that he was very talented and that Ross was someone that he could possibly use for something in the future. Art didn't understand how easy it is for someone to throw together something quick on their laptop.

Ross misrepresented himself as a professional filmmaker. He still does. He's never made a film. In 2013 he directed and cowrote a 20 minute demo reel called The Deadbeats. This was to be used as a demo in order for them to get funding to make the real movie. They failed to reach their goal on IndieGoGo and and never made the movie. They ended up just screening the 20 minute demo for a local audience and then abandoned the project.

Art had always had plans to get Ross and Heather jobs at DMDN. Ross was kind of forced onto Hoagland. Ross never took the job seriously and spent the show's time talking to his mother on the phone and posting on bellgab and 4chan. This led to some fuck ups on the show on air and behind the scenes. When Hoagland said do the show and talk to his mother on his own time Ross exploded and quit the show. He then lied and told everyone that Hoagland him to put the show before his mother.

Ross did in fact signed an NDA. That's why he always starts and argument with people about how they don't know what they are talking about but the he refuses to provide anymore details.

I really enjoyed this show when it first started. I was working long hours out of state and it was great entertainment. I start losing interest in early November because I was back home and didn't have hours to dedicate to listening to the shows.

Since you are all aware of Art's show and my hosting of it, and you have made it clear that you are coveting attention by calling in, I will address you all here.

I write to you with a heavy heart. It has been a pleasure and a great honor to work with Art Bell. I have been with him every step of the way through each incident: his studio internet being tampered with on Sept 23rd, shots fired at his studio on Oct 21st while he was on the air, the threatening phone call he received at his private home number on Nov 18th, the intruder on his property on Nov 23rd, and this last incident of a shot being fired at him when he was on his way to his studio on Dec 9th. I was with him through his quitting of social media, and his return to social media.

The incidents are becoming more brazen, and more often. I'd give anything to know who it is. Anything. I want this person/ persons caught and stopped. However, wishing it does not make it so. The proper Police reports have been made, Art's security increased, yet it continued.

For anyone who thinks this is a stunt or an excuse to quit, I have made reports to Nye County Deputies myself, and have photos of Art's injuries from when he dove to the ground when he heard the shot on Dec 9th.

Unfortunately, it is all too real. I am as angry, and as sad as all of you that Art has been pushed off the air, but the right thing to do is to put his family first. That he was bullied off the air like this makes me so mad I could chew up nails and spit out carpet tacks.

I will be hosting Midnight In The Desert as long as people will listent. It pains me a great deal to have my dream handed to me like this; Art should be the one on that mic. It is his rightful place. Anytime he wants to return, the seat is his. For now, I will keep that fire lit for him. Together, we can help him come back to a seat that is not in tatters.
