Does not really matter what opinion people hold.. As you learn to see with your mind you will find many such images from many lives. Regardless of the actual reason for them existing they are there..

OP here. I do agree that genetic information can be passed on however i do not see conflict with the existance of a soul and the chance to recover memories from past lives. I would recomend you to do a thread on the subject and i will participate i am not here to discuss whether there are past lives or not or if re incarnation is real or not, i am operating under the premise that they are in fact real.

So with a lot of respect i would like you to do your own thread on those subjects to make sure we don't miss the point of the thread.

Reincarnation was never a thing in eastern traditions, it was created and spread by western loonies like the theosophist church and spiritists during the XIXth and early XXth century and falsely attributed to buddhist and hindu doctrines. To think that most people still believe this 150yo drivel is mind boggling. But a lot still believe you can talk to the dead so what can you do.

i've always believed in life after death and when you die your soul remains to live another life whatever it may be and keeping some of your contradictory personality characteristics.

those that seem like they differ from your own self-image perhaps how you react upon instict when experiencing trauma and hardships.

also when i was young i believed the feeling of dejavu came from your past lives. when you live a very similar moment to your past life your soul reacts but your mind does not know what to do with it.

Well, I don't think spirit animal because if the `narrative ` is right then I just traveled for thousands upon thousands of miles with one in a previous life and for obvious reasons became very attached to it. Having said that it could also be a spirit animal - I am interested in the concept - but I just don't know.

For you clearly there is some kind of connection with these animals; with me, quite unexpectedly, then I (may) have found out what my connection was, and so the same might happen with you. There are other things you can do but for sure stay alert, be patient and at some point the connection may reveal itself. Which might sound like vague advise but unless you find someone legit who can help you to for example find a spirit guide then there might not be much more you can do.

One way is to do it through sleep. If you become conscious in your dreams, you can give yourself a suggestion to see your past lives or if you're obsessed with them in your waking state it will show itself in the dreams sooner or latter.
