Fuck man the same thing is happening to me. Over the past year I find myself having conversations in my head then I accidentally mutter some parts of what I'm saying not realizing that I am speaking aloud. There is mental illness that runs in my family but I don't want to see a shrink. My cousin was institutionalized for a year after she tried to kill her self I dont know the details on that story my mom wont tell me but I can figure the state hospital is worse than jail.

If you are serious about the subject and not the regular muh x rp bullshit. You are rarely alone and if you know yourself well enough it is very easy to sort out the thoughts that are not really your own.
