If you are NEET spend about 6 months reading intensely. Eat a diet full of good fats and do a little exercise and keep reading. It's going to be intense, you'll want to get through a hundred or so books.

Besides the reading, start a lot of very basic practices to do alongside things, such as the basic stuff at beginning of IIH and do a lot of things in Atkinson's books like Science of Breath use those breathing techniques and so on.

They want to observe humans at the most critical point in our development as a species without "contaminating" the information.
