I would say to use only the ones that allow you to choose the cards yourself, but that reflects my personal bias in terms of divination theory being unconscious calculations. Someone more into the "spooky" explanation would consider the question from the angle of whether or not electronic interference would affect it in any way.

Personally, I really like using the Galaxy Tarot app, which allows the user to select the cards from the deck all being laid out face-down. In fact, I think I might be more confident in my sortilege with the app than with physical cards because the hovering is more similar to the way I pull runes than is shuffling, which I still haven't quite gotten the hang of.

When I started here, I did readings with a card each from two decks, and divided something like the last three post digits by the post time to get a third card.

0-22=the major arcana
23-36=swords
37-50=cups
51-64=disks
65-78=Wands

This is based on descending order of value in classic playing card rules, since tarot sources don't agree on suit value order, believe me

First card/vision was for the first part of the query, as to what you have to do to make it come to fruition, and the second card/visions tells how successful it'll be. It's interesting, considering the fact that I got actual Tarot cards from this one.

This time around, I let my own intuition form a deck of cards that I would use for this query. They looked rather interesting - pale back, the Sun eerily looming in the center, - it's not exactly the best sign in my readings, but alas, I did not put too much thought or worry into that.

Two cards, like I said. The first seemingly showed the Ten of Swords, or at least a man who was stabbed in the back in the similar fashion of the Ten of Swords. He was leaning over a lectern, trying his hardest to write something down with a feather and ink. There was a white bunny sitting right next to him, patiently waiting. At first the man was immobile, seemingly tired from everything, worn out. Bearing the burden of the swords impaled in his back.

However, some time passes and he starts to raise his left hand to write something on a piece of paper. His handwriting is a little bit shaky, but yet beautiful at the same time. Ornate. Cursive. He slowly forms the words on the paper, still not raising his head from the lectern.

During the time he is writing the words, I look around the scenery. This man, the bunny and the lectern seem to be on some sort of a hill, surrounded by forests and further away, mountains. It is a very clear day, but yet there are a few strange things about this entire scene. The sky was completely and utterly yellow. Everything retained this slight...unrealistic... look about it all. It's as if the artwork of the cards were translated from drawings to actual reality. Even the man looked strange.

Once the man was finished with his short note and signature, he puts the piece of paper in an envelope and gives it to the bunny. The bunny heads away somewhere with it, perhaps giving it to some sort of a person?

The man is now left alone, and he slowly stands up from his chair. At first, it seems, he was very well capable of standing up and walking a few steps, as if he didn't have the swords stuck in his back, but at some point he falls down on the ground, tired. Not dead though, not at all. He crawls to the bed that was conveniently close, and rests. He needs to rest after all of this.

The second card was quite peculiar, to say the least. It seems that I saw the Knight of Swords riding on a horse, but at the same time...the knight felt wrong. It's as if the Knight was actually a Wand, and not a Sword, but yet he still had the Sword in his hand. He was eager to move and eager to ride faster, but the black steed walked slowly and carefully. The sky was black. There were a few grey mountains in the distance.

Now, I observed the two, and I see the Knight obviously struggling with his dilemma. The horse wouldn't move as fast as he wanted to, so he decided to jump off of it and run on the path towards a castle, his destination of sorts?

This is where I got confused, for it seemed like he was either too slow, or the denizens of the castle were simply annoyed and did not wish to let him get through. They raised the gates, but they weren't entirely able to close them for they fell down several times. The Knight timed the fall and managed to get inside of the castle after a risky jump.

However, the denizens were watching, and an old man, presumably the king and the owner, said that he is not allowed inside without a steed. That he needs to get out. That he is not welcome in here. He needs to go.

How... odd of a reading. I hope this made some sense to you, if it did in any way.

I decided to do the same thing as I did with the previous querent - imagine a deck that would fit this query the most. I started seeing flashes without the card drawing, some of which showed growing roses with eventual eyeballs that sprouted out from the middle.

These seemed to be the cards, or at least how they looked like to me. I shuffled a few, and then drew one, and afterwards another one. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't particularly the easiest thing to get to, considering I was kept out for a short period of time. After some pushing through, I got inside of whatever this vision was.

White. White. More white. Akin to something that I saw in the previous time I did a reading from you, but this time around I wasn't being shouted and didn't get a headache after. No colors or anything like that. I was falling down and down, so I had to figure something out - either to fly or to float. I picked flying.

After a bit of flying, I encounter this strange figure that my mind interpreted as ''death''. It actually looked an awful lot like Hastur, but more grey/white than yellow. He seemed to have been impaled on this wooden stake of sorts, and soon enough gravity took hold and he fell down, crumbling and shattering into pieces once he hit the ground...turning into dust.

After looking at this a few times, I decide to fly around a little bit more. Out of curiosity, I try to slash out and all I get out of the wound itself is...black goo. A lot of black goo. And eyes...Small, beady eyes...looking. Watching.

I fix up the slash, but it seems that instead a huge eye grows out of it's place. I fix it up again and finally, the eye has disappeared. I try to slash again, and then I get more goo. I slash out of the ceiling? Black goo. It's as if this area itself was surrounded by goo and lead me to black goo or jello or whatever the heck it was.

Another card. This time things were far more clear to me. I could see...crackled ground. VERY crackled ground. The environment was rather deserted and barren, some few ''mountains'' in the distance, but it all just reminded me of a desert of sorts. Cracks were reaching into the depths, and I could see the very same goo trying to burst out of the cracks to the outside.

After a few steps, towering geysers burst out of the cracks, but not shooting out water...no... the goo. So much goo. Further off, however, I could see a throne of sorts. There was somebody sitting there, but that's where approximately my memory falters and I do think I was either kicked out or I just lost focus.
