Any time a topic with potential merit gets bought up, It's shilled and shit-posted into oblivion. It's been like that for years but It's gotten worse as more and more posters who actually come here to try and discuss things have gotten fed up with it. Disinformation is spinning It's wheel's in the mire of It's own filth as a result and trying to foul up discussion even harder. So some have gotten tired of it, which is exactly what they intended. It makes for a tricky balance where posters are compelled to argue for verifiable and compelling paranormal phenomenon but are also trying to pick their battles.
