what do you guys think about astral projection? any experiences?

We were just talking about it on the sp thread but maybe that's where you came from. If you've ever had an sp episode you know when you try and get up and it feels like you're being pulled back into yourself? Do that only get up from your stomach and dont get too excited or you'll wake up. Excited being anything other than calm. This is all based on what I've read when I researched this. I haven't succeed fully yet because the episodes usually happen for only a week or two at a time and then stop for a few months.

lately i've been reading a book by william buhlman about obes, usually when I meditate for trying to get out of body in my bed at first I relax, but then I feel my body rigid, as if i'm about to get a sp, but not much ever happens. wonder where i go wrong.

I had one yesterday, I found out that my body is like some sort of magnet, the closer I am to harder it is to get out. I imagined a wall passing me until I "forgot" my body, at that point I was able to fly around and enhance my vision 10-fold by looking at my 'astral' hands but when I got near my body again, I felt being dragged in again. Near my body my vision was very blurry etc and being away and looking at my 'astral' hands made it more crisp than real life.
