There are many drugs out there, legal and banned, that make strong changes in the behavior of a human being.

For example, if someone puts MDMA in your coffee probably you won't notice that you are acting like you had turbo gas in your blood, but another person watching you will notice.

According to Wikipedia, the weight of the moon is 734,770,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 KG (kilograms). An adult man is around 80 or 90 KG.

That giant ball spinning over our heads alters the cycle of the oceans, the lava under the floor and the behaviour of people. It's like she has own will, and pulls from our bodies molecules that are chemically and magnetically similar to what's she made of.

Remember all those scenarios from science fiction about grey goo consuming the planet?

What if the leftovers get sent back in time?
>>
>>16952061

Maths: The fact that the moon (LUNA) covers the sun exactly during an eclipse cannot be mere coincidence.

>For example, if someone puts MDMA in your coffee probably you won't notice that you are acting like you had turbo gas in your blood, but another person watching you will notice.

Oh I would have noticed that someone spiked my coffee with MDMA without difficulty.

But you have a point, the moon has definitely some impact on people, as we are about 70% water. But again, this is something that happens to everybody (In your near proximity) at the same time.

Actual maths: When sample size approach 1 the t-statistic approach 0 and the confidence interval approaches infinity. I.E. No valid conclusions can be drawn

Actual facts: It doesn't cover the sum exactly

>the weight of the moon is
magnitudes smaller and further away than the earth. Any effect the moon has related to weight is not even 1/1000th of what the earth has.
>An adult man is around 80 or 90 KG.
amerifat detected.
>alters the cycle of the oceans
no. It creates a tide. The ocean cycles are a completely different thing and the tide is so tiny it can be ignored in the grand scheme of things
>the lava under the floor
lava by definition is not underneath anything. And the moon doesn't alter it to any significant degree
>and the behaviour of people
not when they're not aware of the moon. I.E. It's placebo.
>pulls from our bodies molecules
no
>magnetically similar
that doesn't even make sense

>>
>>16952091
>as we are about 70% water
This is so fucking retarded. The moon exerts equal pull on everything, that's how gravity works. The only reason only tides are visible (to the naked eye) is because the oceans are so fucking huge that even a 0.000000001% change is several meters on a shoreline.

That makes sense to you???

Lava can't be under a cloud, or under a plank I toss on it to watch it burn, or under the sea?

Like a cat always landing on its feet, lava FLIPS to be over anything that tries to be over it!!
>>
OP is a fag that has never taken molly or seen the ocean.
>>
>>16952067
It can be a coincidence, easily. It's just massively unlikely.

Try getting a body that massive into geosynchronous orbit without a massive network of thrusters to stabilize the orbit after it's thrown into the solar system. I know of only one potential entity that has that capacity, and it's made of nanites and time travel.

The precision involved in creating the moon's orbit is beyond anything that 36.3% of the universe has ever known or seen.

>geosynchronous orbit

Erm, no. The moon is not is in "geosynchronous orbit" then it'd seem to be over on spot on the Earth at all times, which would require it to match the Earth's rotational speed... it'd be fuckin' cranking, covering in 24 hours the area it now covers in about 28 days.

Please to note that each post in this thread is spread out across time, people, and just about everything else you can imagine. Failing to value the rate at which topics change during a conversation involves coming to appreciate the distinction between website interfaces. Mnemo is dead wrong about that part. He's also a liar that intends to mislead you at every step. Not necessarily by his own volition, mind you; you should listen to him either way. Just so you can track the changes in his beliefs, nothing else.
>>
>>16954243
Not that I've ever heard of in my education or work. The moon is lop-sided and the pull between Earth and Moon doesn't let it rotate anymore (virtually).

By OP's logic traveling to different latitude should exert change since g varies depending on where you are, and thats much more significant then the moons pull.

>>16952067
Total eclipse only happens rarely compared to other eclipses.

>>16952142
Well there is certain amount of tidal friction going on underneath ourselves, which slows Earth's rotiation but its only relevant amount over geological time.

>>1695424
Its not any kind of named orbit, its called being tidally locked and basically the endgame for planetary satellites, our moons not the only one.

Erm, No. There's a weird cloud of dust around the moon that bulges towards Earth, maybe that's what you're thinking of...

the combative and sometimes juvenile nature of your responses indicates that your objective is to be contrarian and attempt to rustle someones jimmies; not to be informative or to help draw logical conclusions. eurotrash suffering from american envy detected

I'm not trying to do any of that. I simply enjoy shitting on idiots like yourself. And then watch how you embarrass yourself even more by trying to respond instead of realizing you're wrong and ignorant.
