I also see the word theory getting kicked around a lot. Doesn't a hypothesis need to meet certain criteria to actually become a theory and thus a theory to becoming a law?

Most of the popular scientific theories I see idiots politicizing and arguing about are nothing better than hypotheses, and yet where are the scientists stepping and making this distinction before public policy get established. Oh wait, they're probably busy applying for more grant monies.

I think that it's because women are more emotion based (not necessarily bad) and "I feel" is much more of a passive statement then "I think" or "I know" and women are usually more passive.

It actually took me like 2 years to train myself to say "I think" instead of "I feel. I still slip up occasionally but people generally take me a lot more seriously now.
