Well, uh, i guess you could, but they aren't necessarily needed. probably the most important thing to do would be to make sure you match the suits up properly. A quick WIKI of the game trumps should do it, as that's where the cards 'originated'.
I know I used a deck before I sprang for tarot cards and the readings were decent. theres just less to be said, or rather more is put ion you the interpreter to be said.
