I can't remember the name of a very useful program that allowed me to undo changes made to Windows in real time at any moment with the utmost precision, sort like a real time CTRL + Z, I pushed the button to stop time ( or something like that) and it began to log any changes made to the system/registry, I could install toolbars and all the shit I wanted just for the lulz, then pressing the button to go back to when I stopped time, everything rolled back exactly as it was before, all nice and clean.
I can't find it anymore, someone remembers it? Or even something similar/better? Thank you.
was it this? http://www.farstone.com/software/restore-it.php

Not installing toolbars at all worked for me
or perhaps this

same here but I can see the appeal just for any time you want to install some random bullshit utility that you're going to use once, without having to bother to spot "also install toolbars" and "pressing the no don't install the toolbars option actually installs the toolbars, you have to press yes" or just shit of dubious origin like a save game editor that just might be full of spyware that's not even gonna ask
Thanks for the replies, these ones look pretty good, however, if I'm not asking too much, is there anything freeware? Or it exists only as a paid solution?

has a free version i just happened to link to the paid one. haven't bothered to look at what if any the limitations might be on the home one (never used any software of this type beyond the basic built in windows restore, just googling)
