Wait, I already saw all of this. You made a thread before asking for a similar thing right? This is really easy to do, try downloading Gimp. All you have to do is erase what you don't like and save it as a png.

I tried doing it with paint.net but there were ugly white lines.

You mean the request wasn't fulfilled? Give me the picture and I'll do it.
Download Gimp, open your picture with it, erase areas you want transparent, fill another layer with a bright color like magenta and put it under the first layer to see if you missed white spots, this should take care of white lines.
