Casualfag here. I haven't watched a lot of animu in years and wanted to catch up on the best shows that have come out recently. What's the best way of getting a rundown of the best picks from each season so I can check out the shows that look interesting?

anidb.net
^ a good site which lets you search based on airing date (ie. you specify the time you haven't been watching anime) and sort by rating

alternatively, ask for recommendations here by season or year or whatever
