I believe my ISP is blocking exodus as I get "no stream available" whenever I use it with wifi however on the same device using 3G it works fine. I have TalkTalk broadband and have turned off homesafe and it has done nothing. Is there any other way around this?

Change your ISP. Talk Talk throttled my shitty 2Mb broadband down to nothing due to me breaching the "fair use agreement". I've been with Sky ever since and they've never throttled me once.

Actually if you're not dumb you can use OpenVPN, which secure and reliable but as you'll need some knowledge in networking and UNIX commands.
However it's not like those shitty paid VPN that spy on your activities. Actually with not much you can rent a VPS on OVH and get started.
