i/(1-i)
I feel like this should be easy but it's stumping me. I can google the answer but how do I get it? And this is i as in i^2=-1
>>379841
i / (1 - i)
i(i + 1) / (1 - i)(1 + i)
(-1 + i) / (i + 1 + 1 -i)
(-1 + i) / (2)
-1/2 + i/2
the hard part is knowing what to multiply the bottom by so that you get rid of the i. remember that (a + b)(a - b) = a^2 - b^2 and you're good.
>>379845
>(a + b)(a - b) = a^2 - b^2
I should have thought of that. Thanks a lot m8.
