Hello.
I have a question.
My computer started freaking out past two weeks.
When i start it up, everything is fine and dandy, until it start booting up windows, then the PC just shutsdown like three times... After that i loads into windows, but sometimes shutsdown again and sometimes not.
It always happens only when starting the PC after a while, after it manages to run for more than minute, everything is fine and the PC runs for like 8 hours nonstop without a single issue.
Also what it does, sometimes when it shutsdown, the lights on the front panel (power and HDD working) start flickering and PC isnt booting up, just fans spinning, after that, the rest of PC wakes up and everything goes as usual.
My assumption that the old PSU is dying.
Am i correct or wrong?
I heard it might be MB issue aswell?
Anyone has experience with this?
I'm no crossposter from /g/ but the last time I had a booting problem I contacted a friend and we tested if it could be the PSU or the cable. Or the short end of the stick (the motherboard).
The fact that my PSU worked with the cable of his PSU left no questions behind. I gave him his cable back, bought me a new one and it still works.
