Is it possible to use steam workshop on non steam games? I tried replicating a tutorial of this for skyrim on xcom 2 with no success. Is skyrim perhaps the only game this is possible with?

I've only had it work for a handful of games I've tried but you might get lucky, I only remember it specifically working with don't starve together and a few other small indie games
