Hello.
I'm learning English. I know this is called a coaxial cable, but I need you to tell me how would you describe this item without using the word 'coaxial'. The best thing I could came up with is 'black cable with metallic ends that have a tiny needle inside'.

old tv copper cable
It can be called an Aerial Cable
>>377280
TV antenna cable. That's where coaxial cable structures are generally used.
>>377280
Round cable with a copper center conductor and shield use for the transmission of video and audio signals.
NES cable

If I was trying to describe it to somebody I'd probably say it was "one of those old TV cables with the screw-in ends".
>>377280
Why would you want to do that, though?
It's a coaxial cable with f-connectors on the ends. That's the most succinct way to describe it, because that's what it's called.

If you're on the phone with grandma helping her set something up and she doesn't know what a "coax cable" is, you're gonna need to explain it another way.

If you're on the phone with grandma, why would you be speaking a foreign language?
