Please recommend me anime which would be good to watch with a significant-other.
I'm looking for either a series or a movie with a good emotional hook.
We really liked Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu so anything similar in tone would be great!

3-Gatsu would be really good if you liked Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu. Maybe you will like Paradise Kiss and Mushishi too.
I usually watch fun shows with my significant other though. Yowamushi Pedal and Hunter x Hunter were the most successful in terms of binge watching. Right now we are watching K-On which I have been avoiding forever, but it's a lot of fun!
