Hi anons, I just found in my place a old processor (I think) is better than the one my laptop uses.
I just don't know if this other one fits in my laptop.
the one my notebook is using

This won't fit in your laptop. It's desktop cpu. The best of this 775 socket CPUs I think. However, your laptop cpu is even better and faster than this Core 2 quad. If you don't need it you can sell it for about 25$ I think (just double check if not sure)

All depends on your socket. look up what socket your board has/ what socket your CPU uses, if that CPU uses the same one you can use it, otherwise not.

No it's not: 2620M is only dual-core, and not exactly highly-clocked. Top-end 775 will smoke it on single-thread/dual-thread performance, and any Core2 Quad will smoke it on four-thread performance.
Comparing a laptop processor to a desktop one is stupid though.

SLAQW is not particularly sought-out or valuable. To bring a 775 back from the edge, most people use a Xeon of some kind.
