I haven't been able to sit down and watch a decent anime in a while, anyone have any suggestions for what I should watch?
If you want specifics, I'm mainly looking for comedy and action.
(Posting to the correct board this time, hopefully.)
The Tatami Galaxy

Anything you can tell me about this one? I don't think I've heard of it before.
>>374075
It's a (mostly) comedic time loop story about a young man trying to achieve a life he's truly satisfied with. Go watch a couple episodes and see if you like it.
>>374091
Time loops? I think I'm already interested. Thanks, Anon!
>>374091
Are there any others that you would recommend?
>>374101
Everything directed by Masaaki Yuasa
Mobile Suit Gundam (mainly the original one, 0080 and Turn A)
Rose of Versailles
3-Gatsu no Lion
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Mob Psycho 100
>>374103
I guess it's time to start a list, right?
Should I try to marathon it all, or take a few breaks? Unfortunately, I'm terrible with pacing myself. It's even worse with Manga.
>>374107
Take breaks
>>374108
Alright, I'll try to keep that in mind. Thank you.
>>374073
Berserk
>>374124
Thanks, but I'm reading the manga. I guess it's a matter of preference?
>>374073
JJBA
Hajime No Ippo
Berserk
Shokugeki No Soma
Definitely watch Hajime No Ippo
>>374073
Try watching Yamato 2199, I'm the time of person that can't stand flavor of the month of moeshit and just couldn't stop watching.
>>374334
OP here again, thanks a lot for the suggestions!
To be honest, I was pretty curious about Hajime No Ippo. When it comes to JJBA, however I need to pick it back up again. Nearing the end of Journey to Egypt and things are looking pretty good from what I remember.

Someone did not read the thread s/he replied to.
>>374397
I read it.
Watch Kaiji.
>>374128
IIRC, there are hardly any differences between the manga and the first season from the 90's.
I'd say you should read the manga; and then once you get past the eclipse, watch that season at any time.

Have you ever tried Ore Monogatari?

>>374073
Azumanga Daioh is the best comedy in anime out there. If you want action you could try Rurouni Kenshin or Onihei
Kill la Kill is a good mix of comedy and action
>>374655
OP here, wifi got knocked out because of a storm last night. I've only heard of Ore Monogatari.
>>374671
Watched it and just might watch it again.
>>374813
A bit of an update: I gave Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei a try. Even though I'm not able to keep up with the subtitles sometimes, I think it's very nice!
>>374812
It's slighty WAFFy "guilty pleasure" romance stuff. At times a bit cheesy but features a quite adorable couple.
>>374837
I'll be sure to give it a try then, thanks!

For the action-part "Black Lagoon" is considered a classic. (Despite I've only read the manga up until now.)
If you haven't picked it up yet, watch Aho Girl, it's currently airing.
I haven't laughed this hard in years.
>>374878
Speaking of which: "Please tell me Galko-chan" was hilarious. Look at first if Crunchyroll airs it in your country.
>>374073
Kuchuu buranko
>>374855
What can you say about Casshern Sins? I'm giving it a try but a friend told me it was shit. I'd rather trust a stranger on the net.
>>374981
People are going to have a different approach to it.
Casshern/Casshan has been around since the 70s, and fans of the original might not necessarily like the newer, grittier direction Sins takes. However, a lot of people watching Casshern for the first time generally have no problem with Sins.
>>374073
The Big O
Milky Holmes
>>374073
Currently airing top 3, Made in Abyss, Fate Apocrypha and Gamers
>>375510
I remember this one! Only saw a few episodes of it, unfortunately.
>>374073
City Hunter
>>375600
MiA is the good one
OP once more. Thanks for all of your suggestions!
>>375911
OP watch hunter x hunter with me
