Anons, I'm having a bit of difficulty with this problem. Can someone please help me out? I hate to ask here but I'm completely stumped.
>Compute the multifactor productivity measure for each of the weeks show for the production of widgets. What do the productivity figures suggest? Assume a 40 hour work week and an hourly wage of $12 dollars. Overhead is 1.5 times weekly labor cost. Material cost is $6 dollars per pound.
Week 1: Output Units 30,000, Workers 6, Material lbs 450
Week 2: Output units 33,600, Workers 7, Material lbs 470
Week 3: Output units 32,200, Workers 7, Material lbs 460
Week 4: Output units 35,400, Workers 8, Material lbs 480
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't figure out how to tackle this problem. Could someone please help me out with this one?
