Looking for an old live action show I saw as a kid.

All I remember is that there was some horseshoe crab like monsters (maybe some flying as well) that started invading, and as a counter they main characters had some Buzz controller looking weapons with 2 spikes(?) at the end that they could use to teleport and to fight the monsters with.

I just remembered a scene where all the main characters are running down a beach and the creatures are coming pretty much from everywhere.

Not sure if that helps or not
