Hey guys. Bought a pc 3 weeks ago and it Bsods:s almost everyday.. usually when gaming, had a few other errors as well.
I did a memcheck (pic related) and it seems pretty clear that it's the ram, is there anything else i could do next or should I just buy new ram?
I'm not great with tech, but I can follow a tutorial at least..

It will only get worse from now on, buy a new RAM module, they're easy to replace

If it fails memtest, the RAM/motherboard/memory controller is definitely faulty.

Try pulling out one of the RAM sticks, and running memtest again. If at least one of them passes, then you'll at least be able to use it while you wait to get new RAM.

thank you!

well i don't have a esd wrist wrap.. and i think ill just make the drive back to the store that built it and get it replaced by them (i have a warranty).
so nothing like the psu or anything that could be a problem? (fractal design 600w)

It's definitely what >>352413 said, judging by the symptoms you described and the memtest screen. You wouldn't need an esd protector to swap out ram modules but since your pc is still under warranty better to let them deal with it. Run another memtest when you get your comp back.

Thanks!

I might as well let the seller have a look, I called them today and they said they might be able to swap it out quickly, but they might want to keep the pc for a diagnose, I don't know.
Either way I don't mind.

Fuck it, they're less than $5.

You don't need eye protection for power tools either, but why fuck about over such a minimal cost?
