Is there an equivalent of this chart for manga? If not, then what would be some manga that really stand out in terms of their art? I know of Taiyo Matsumoto and have read his works, so I'm not looking for more stuff by him.

Not that I've seen. That chart was made solely for one thread because some anon was butthurt about his parents making fun of his anime.

All of the charts posted in this thread were made based off of a consensus on /a/ after one to three threads determining what to put in each chart. You can probably imagine all of the shitposting, but the point is that they were made by a bunch of people and not just one person.
Also, I don't really see how it looks like it was made by someone who likes western comics and pretends to like manga, but that's whatever, I guess.
