Does anyone have a source for this webm?
And can anyone explain why anyone would eat this?

That's mexican street food.
We like it because it's a combination of our favorite snacks like chips, japanese peanuts, Tajín seasoning and different types of tamarind candy + tamarind sauce.
Of course, it's supposed to serve 10+ people. No one could eat that by themselves.
They would either die trying or get infernal diarrhea.

interesting. so what were all the sauces he put on the potluck?

It's hard to tell, but there's definitely lime juice, chamoy and clamato in there. Probably Valentina hot sauce, too.

It looks like he added a sauce we call "Salsa Petroleo" or "Salsa petrolera" (Petroleum sauce). Which is a combination of Tabasco sauce, Maggi (soy one) sauce and Worcester sauce.
