You might actually like it, it's mostly faithful to the series (good whip and sword combat, MC throws daggers and an axe ) plus the last fight of the season between Trevor and Alucard is GOAT

Exactly what I thought. I've been waiting for this animation for about 10 years. I used to follow the production blog for Castlevania back when it was going to be an animated film. So when the project finally came to fruition, I was super excited, and I did enjoy the season. But we were given too little.
