Do you guys know where to download higurashi and serial experiment lain?
All torrents on nyaa are dead.

There are plenty of working torrents for Lain and the Higurashi arcs:
https://nyaa.si/view/867004
https://nyaa.si/?f=0&c=0_0&q=higurashi&s=size&o=desc
You probably were using the archive backup site (Pantsu something), but that one is outdated and only should be used when the official Nyaa (.si) is down.

I can provide many arguments as to why Nyaa.si is the official replacement of Nyaa.se, for example: It's managed by the same people; it's endorsed by HS and fansubs, and it's the one the Japanese are using. What can you say in favor of other replacements? The Pantsu site is down more than 15% of the time and they have to scrap their stuff from Nyaa.si (because they're so irrelevant that the sub creators don't even bother to upload their stuff there, KEK), but sadly their scrapper is buggy as fuck and they often end up getting stuff days (if not weeks) later. How dare you even propose it as a replacement of Nyaa.se when it doesn't even work properly? Pantsu is an archived backup of Nyaa.si at most, and that's being generous. Let's hear your arguments.

>and it's the one the Japanese are using
That's pantsu actually.
But I think you're the only person I've seen trying to say that it's managed by the cartel like it's a good thing, I mean fuck them and their restrictive decision that anyone uploading to another site doesn't get trusted status is part of the reason why people weren't putting their eggs in multiple baskets.
Anyways OP, get an AB account, it's seeded far better than the now sporadic nyaa branches and has just about anything you could ask for.

Not him but:
>It's managed by the same people
Nope, Nyaa (the sole proprietor of the original) isn't involved in any capacity.
>it's endorsed by HS
They chose to support it because they're unsure about the real lifetime of /g/'s project (this is realistically the biggest issue over all).
>it's the one the Japanese are using
How could you possibly know that? Tonnes of japs are using nyaa.pantsu as well, and I know because they've posed traffic stats in the thread on /g/ before.
>they have to scrap their stuff from Nyaa.si (because they're so irrelevant that the sub creators don't even bother to upload their stuff there
This is demonstrably false. Go to each site and look for english translated BD releases of Berserk (2016). nyaa si has one that nyaa pantsu doesn't have, and nyaa pantsu has one that nyaa si doesn't have.
>Pantsu is an archived backup of Nyaa.si at most
As outlined above: you're full of shit.
Don't misunderstand, I miss nyaa se as well, and wish nyaa si was as great and perfect of a replacement as you're suggesting it is, but it isn't. In the long run it would probably be best if only one of them stayed open so that it can act as a central repository / defacto source again, but for the time being it's best to check both sites for releases.

They're the Poland of the nyaa refugee crisis.
>>345599
>the one the Japanese are using
thats just outright lying anon theyre posting their shit at pantsu more than in .si. The whole reason why its always down at night time EST is because of japanese and chinese traffic
