It's called google.
Name of game + rom will give you plenty of results.
Google really is your friend there, I can only guess that they really want people to have easy access to free stuff, because you can push that thing even further. Search for a download of something, most likely you will get a "results removed" message at the bottom, click the link, in the now opening page you can see all the copyright claims- with LINKS- in other words where the good stuff guaranteed is!
So do Ctlr+F, type in the name of the game- voila, direct links tio best sources, often even the links to the file hosters themselves.
