Hey /wsr/, I'm in need of some help.
I have a razer chimaera 360 version (I use it on my pc) and their batteries are starting to die. It uses 2 AAA battery, the only thing I don't know is the type of battery (NiMH or lithium).
Can you guys tell me what is the kind of battery it uses?
Also, I for my research, the lithium batteries are the "better" ones. But I couldn't find the AAA rechargeable version of it, if possible, can you link me to that?
And at last the mAh, there is some NiMH with 300mAh, and others with 680mAh, what this number means and which is better for my headset?
Thanks for any help anons.

Lithium Iron DiSulphide, which is the lithium chemistry found in 1.5V batteries (i.e. AAs and AAAs) is not rechargeable, which is why you can't find any.

That's the capacity of the battery.
Neither is any better for your headset, but the bigger capacity batteries need recharged less often.

In 1.5V, I recommend low self-discharge NiHM ("Hybrio", "Eneloop").
Regular NiMH has a greater capacity, but it discharges itself when you're not using it, at quite a significant rate (20-30 days are all it takes to completely empty it), so for low-power applications like headsets, you'll get more battery life from low-self-discharge because it won't be losing capacity during the times you're not using it.
Lithium Ion/LiPo is the gold standard when it comes to energy density, but it's simply not available in 1.5V: a single LiPo cell provides a nominal 3.7V.

My headset have a charging station, so when I'm not using it is charging, Does that makes a difference?

In that case go for high-capacity NiHM: in AAA, "high capacity" means 1000mAh, 1100mAh or similar.

I found this one.

Do you think is my best option?
