Is it safe to use this 10A 250V power chord with my 100V - 240V 50-60Hz PSU? Thanks

Bump
no it will explode and you will die
>>343864
it's just a cord, use your brain
>>343864
Yeah, it's safe
>>343940
Thanks anon, just wanted to make sure

don't listen to him he's trying to get you killed
>>343942
Nice try
>>343943
I'm serious don't do it
please dont do it op, the higher voltage requirement for the powercord isn't going to reach it's requirement; it will slowly build up current and will shock you when you unplug it

Yeah nice try.
The voltage ratings on both the device and the cord are safety limits; if you could somehow find a 300V supply you could blow both of them up.
The cord gives zero fucks about less than 250V.
The device will not work with less than 100V, but it won't blow up or anything. Above 240V it might blow up, but you would have to go out of your way to find a 250V supply.
Isn't that just grounded IEC320 female? If there is schuko on the other end then it's just a common one phase power cable. 10 amps is house lightning/general household current fuse up 2kW devices, safely.

...to illustrate my question, pic related.
Use Logic
Yeah of course you can!!.
a 250V 10A max rated cord "not chord" can
be used to your PSU. assuming your PSU emits not greater than what the amperage rating your cord can handle

He is going to die violently and it will be all your fault
Don't worry about these trolls trying to scare you OP, the worst than can happen is your house burns down and you get cancer, but no explosion.
Worked flawlessly, thanks guys
