I don't really get what you want. So your problem is, that other people learn games faster? So you want a game that rewards playing the game for decades rather than just skill? Pick any new mmo then, and stick with it. Or sim-like games like Elite Dangerous. Eve would be a great call, if it wasn't so old already.

If you just want something with a level playing field disregarding competitive nature, play a board game with dice, or kids games like Mario Kart.
Or, get into pen & paper.

You should try competitive puzzle games like Puyo Puyo and Panel de Pon.

What I'm looking for it's a game with a different concept than those I mentioned, so I can try new stuff. I want to get good in a game to feel like I'm playing it fluidly instead of being lost all the time in what I'm doing. What I said about being competitive is, for example, seen in MOBAs, where I feel you can't just play for fun because everything you do have to be serious and closed (for example you have to be in your lane all the time, and make a specific build for a specific character). I'm excited for ARMS on Switch because it's a good example of a game with a new concept that I can try to be good at, since I've never played a game like that before, so I don't know how well I'd play. You might like something like Senran Kagura, if you aren't averse to anime tits. One of the main things the producer wanted from the series was a game that was easy to pick up, but was fun and looked flashy regardless. Combo strings are pretty basic and easy to perform and you mow down dozens of enemies in the process.

Rush blindly at your enemies and spam attack cards whenever possible.
Win a surprising amount of games, and if you lose, it's not a big deal because it's just a board game.

Alternatively, play competitive games, but play them against people who are also bad at video games, like me.

Have you tried platformers?

Duelyst has a cool concept, it's a card game, but you summon your cards on a chess board and move them around. There are daily challenges which will make you rage, and then cum once you finish them.
