Try Evangelion. While you're at it, ask yourself what every single cryptic symbolism means and make up Freudian explanations in your mind. Feel deep and enlightened while you watch a cartoon aimed at 8 year olds that follows the same good old Power Rangers formula in 70% of the episodes. If you really have shit taste you will love it.

Kemono Friends has been mega popular in Japan. Partially because it has a lot of cute/endearing characters (every episode has new ones). But it has a lot more going on than that, it's not a SoL show. Gotta shill it because not many people over here even gave it a chance.

Aside from that, Hidamari Sketch, New Game, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka, Non Non Biyori, Strike Witches, Love Live and iDOLM@STER are some good ones. There's lots.
