So I finally came around to putting together a high-end PC rig, but been out the loop as far as gaming (college, job hunting) for some years now.
What are some straight up addictive online multiplayer PC games I must install on this bad boy?

Overwatch is very popular for its gameplay. There's FFXIV if you're into MMOs, though that might be more addictive than you're thinking of.

Seconding Overwatch, although I really dislike Blizzard's business practices. That shit should've been F2P considering the gambling system they have going with loot boxes.
If you're into fighting games, KoF 14 and [spoiler]Street Fighter 5[/spoiler], maybe Guilty Gear Xrd if you're a fag or MAHVEL BABY.

If you want a game that'll show it off, I'd go for Arc: Survival Evolved. That game is beastly.
Subnautica is pretty, and pretty nasty too, though sadly, not multiplayer.
