Since there doesn't seem to be any proper PC alternatives to Breath of the Wild, what else can I play to satisfy my wanderlust? Other than the really obvious titles, such as Witcher 3, Bethesda games, Nier Automata, Shadow of Mordor, and Dragon's Dogma, what are my options on PC? I really need a large, interesting fantasy world to lose myself in.

I'm looking only for single player games. I forgot to mention. Sorry.
Any other suggestions?

Darksiders 1 and 2 feel very much like Zelda games plus hack-n-slash combat. The first one is more Zelda-like, while the second has less of an emphasis on dungeons. They're still there, but they're much simpler and you don't have a lot of moments like
>'hmm, what's that thing'
>'you got (item)!'
>"oh I can use (item) on that thing, sweet!'

Seriously this game is best out of everything.
You just can't go wrong with this one.

Is no Man's Sky actually a decent enough game under all that hate and broken promises or are you just trolling me? Because sure, I can play NMS if it's good enough.

give it a pirate, you might be able to get a little fun out of it. id suggest getting some mods to cut out all the frustrating stuff though
also its a bit out there but i recommend checking out yume nikki. its a very unconventional video game but it has some really cool and unique exploration
