Long story short: I needed a new headset and bought one but really cant afford it because uni
Would they really bat an eye if I sent my old one and said it was broken/used? Would they even notice at all? I just want a refund. They still look pretty identical in real life, especially in the box, except mine is clearly darker because of use. Pic related
I know it's kind of shitty but I need my mic to study with my group but I cant actually afford this headset.

Yes. They're not as stupid as you. There are things called serial numbers. That one will have a different one. Plus, I doubt they even sell used headphones besides returned/open box that are still new. So WHERE and HOW would a dirty sweatstained headphone used by some sweaty faggot for years wind up at their warehouse? And then HOW would it get mixed up with the new headphones, and get repackaged in a new box?
