/wsr/ recommend me some turn-based games (doesn't have to be RPGs), that are PC-only (or have easily attainable/working ROMs/emulators) that have interesting gameplay mechanics.
Can be any length, though preferably I can play it and get a feel of it pretty quick.
Can also be porn games if they have interesting mechanics.
I'm trying to find turn-based games I can enjoy again since lately I've been almost exclusively playing FPS/TPS or ARPGs mostly.
Valkyria Chronicles
Undertale

Grandia 2
Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition
How do you feel about strategy games? 4x games are pretty slow paced and you usually play each campaign over several days. Civilization IV or V is probably a good introduction to that genre. There's also Endless Space if you want sci-fi rather than history-based, and Endless Legend for fantasy.
There's also tabletop games for PC like Talisman, which I think is lots of fun, though it's better if you have somebody to play with.
Dokapon Kingdom with your best pals
Bunny Black, It's an ero game and the gameplay is said to be better than many AAA games.
The sequel 'Bunny Black 2' was very enjoyable for me. Pic related is the 3rd game (untranslated)

How are translations on that?
Last I checked the game hasn't received an update in a year and dargoth still isn't finished

For part 1 you the story and important characters are generally all translated, A year ago I played it quite far until I couldn't continue the story.
Another translator who I think translated the original MGQ is on board so it should quicken for part 1 but part 2 is getting released soon, which I hear is a hell of alot bigger.
idk about now but I think you could at least play the whole story of part one if they've released an update lately
XCOM, both the old and the nu-xcom are good.
Laser Squad
Rebelstar: Tactical Command
If you can find it, and if you can get it to run;
Cavewars.

OMG I almost forgot;
Ascendancy.
OP here, keep them coming in the meantime I'll check these out
Nethack. It takes a bit to get used to the keyboard commands, but it's one of the most fun, in-depth games I can think of.
