Searching for an animu that gives me this shivering feeling of adrenaline back like this one
For thrilling mecha-focused shows, try Gundam 00 or Star Driver.
For generally thrilling shows, try some common ones like Steins;Gate or Madoka.
Top wo Nerae! Gunbuster and Diebuster. They were the inspiration for TTGL

I'll try Gundam and Star Driver. I already know Steins and Madoka, but I search something a bit, hmm, I don't really know how to say it, something with much action that draws one in completely and with gorgeous soundtrack.

If you're looking for something exciting give Gun X Sword a shot.

Getter Robo isn't really as insane as TTGL but it did inspire it majorly so you might like it. Just make sure you read the manga and not the anime equivalents.

he asked for anime
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Great soundtrack and basically a trip from start to finish.

It is the only show where I recommend the dub. It's fairly cartoony so it just fits better; the dialogue is way too fast otherwise and you'll lose out on many jokes. REPENT MOTHERFUCKER.
Also, Jormungand. It's about a group of illegal arms dealers and the soundtrack and action scenes are fucking dope.

I assume you watched FLCL already.
Try the following: FLCL, Diebuster, Kill La Kill, Inferno Cop, Space Patrol Luluco. They were made by the same people and they all have the same general feeling that something large and weird is going on. I also suggest checking out the movie Redline, it will definitely pump you up.
