I often get this error whenever I attempt to import a video on Photoshop CS6 when I want to create a GIF. Has anyone else have this problem and if so, are there any fixes?

i had that problem when a firewall was blocking tcp access from photoshop. turn off the firewall and see if that clears the problem. if it does you'll need to find where the firewall is blocking it and remove that rule.
