I have a new phone and it's Xiaomi Redmi 4x and so my mom sent it to the shop where I bought it to get a tempered glass screen. Apparently, the fingerprint sensor doesn't recognize both of my fingerprints and even my backup password is incorrect. As far as I remember, I haven't change it once, once I set it up. And now that damn phone is forever locked and it's useless to me.

So, what do? Go back to the shop? I don't really dare to open up my phone.

But the thing is, it's the same phone with the theme I installed with the same lock screen wallpaper I got from pixiv.

I had a theory that the glass screen actually affected the fingerprint sensor but it doesn't make sense as to why it keeps denying the password I input. Plus, the sensor is at the back and the glass screen is at front.

Fucking goddammit, I have shitty japanese phone games that I need to log in everyday and now I can't even do that.

OP here and it was solved just now. I didn't want it but I had to factory reset it, luckily it's a new phone.
