Okay, I don't know the term for this kind of operation, so can somebody PLEASE help me understand how the heck I find the sine of 38 degrees and 25 minutes?
I fucking suck at this holy shit.
google is your friend

60 seconds in a minute, and 60 minutes in a degree
thus 38 degrees and 25 minutes =
38 + 25/60 = 38.4166667 degrees

"minute" uses the circular clock as a model to easily visualize angle fractions.
The cirlce on the clock has 60 minutes, so one minute is 1/60 of a degree.

I'll try this. Thanks.
Like I mentioned, I didn't know what search terms to use, so I just went on a goose search for twenty minutes. I figured I should come here.

It worked. Thank you

The model is continued this way, there are also angle seconds, as expected one second then is 1/(60*60) = 1/3600 of a degree.
