>use winamp as my primary music player
>open audio file
>this opens up
Why the fuck is this happening? It used to open up the regular window for it and I don't know what this little shit is. I can only listen to tracks by manually opening Winamp and then playing a file while Winamp is running
>used to open up the regular window
that is the regular skin.
>>291387
that might be just the classic skin. it shouldn't affect playback capability
>>291295
what file types did it stop playing?
try enabling the Winamp Agent (Preferences, File Types)
>>291878
also if it changed the skin by itself, it might have lost its application data or something. try reinstalling
>>291901
I didn't want to resort to uninstalling but I did and it fixed the problem. Any time I'd open any audio file, it'd open up the small window and the audio wouldn't play.
It's fixed now, so thank you
on _every_ version of winamp, if you delete the skins folder, effectively deleting all the skins available, it will use the built-in (embed into the winamp binary) classic skin

The newer ones use TrueType fonts instead of the bitmap font everyone remembers.
>>292185
right, but then again...
also no skins folder
>winamp
holy shit is this 2004?
