Might not be exactly what you're looking for but I finished Sasameki Koto a while ago and it left me in an emotional ditch on the side of the road.

The anime only covers the first two volumes of the manga though, which is kind of a shitty place to end it, and some of the best moments in the series are in the later volumes. I just started reading where the anime left off, so you can do that too.
