Anyone really bored and want to help a poor anon with some Java here and there for an assignment?

Thanks for reading
If I don't respond straight away don't worry cause I'll still actually be there
Bump, I'm in there again still in need of assistance

just state your business here...

The thing is there's nothing really specific. I'm working through an assignment that's a week by week excercise. Currently I'm working on Dekkers algorithm in Java, which is just why I was hoping someone really was bored enough to just sit and help a dude get through this
This is what I have for Dekkers at the mo

I'd appreciate some help on this now

Any assistance at all would be fine
Thanks to the people who joined or read the thread, even if you couldn't help.
I'm done now

Dude, this is not how /wsr/ works.
People hang out *here* because they like to answer questions *here*. No-one's going to come to some weird place they've never been before just to answer some question you might have later.
On the other hand, if you post a specific question here, you'll very likely get an answer, particularly if it's a CS question like this. You just won't necessarily get one in the timeframe you're after.
I've got a CS degree, and I've likely done every one of the Java problems you've been asking about, but I'm at work the whole time from when you ask your meta-question to the time when you end your thread with a plaintive goodbye. There are certainly others that are similarly qualified with similar reasons for not coming to visit you.
You're not being ignored because no-one can answer your question, or because no-one will answer your question, but because you're not really asking a question in the way it's done here.
Next time you're stuck, why not come here with a specific question about a specific bit of code that isn't working right, or a specific problem that you need an algorithm for. There are people that can and will help you.

Appreciate the tips. IRC isn't really a weird place though, I figured most would be somewhat accustomed to it given how prevalent it is on 4chan, but you're right.
Like I said earlier, I didn't have anything specific in mind, and I was working against a deadline desu. Suppose all in all it was just a bad request on my end. Sorry lads.

In that case they are very underage or just crawled out from under a rock.

We all know what reddit and tumblr are too, anon.
