How do i increase the speed i render videos? Currently rendering

On windows 8.1 btw

Upgrading to an intel processor. Which also means buying a new mobo and ram. This is the reason you shouldn't cheap out on a CPU.

You might see a slight speed increase with overclocking your CPU.

Give more info on what you are using to "render". Different applications react differently to some parameters. For some, it could be beneficial to raise your IMC clock to around 3GHz, and also optimize your RAM clock and timings.

Im using Videopad by nch, not great, but it was cheap. Ram is 16gb, and right now im clocking at 4ghz

Yeah, I just bought a new mobo and cpu a few months ago. Looked good on paper, and it is a great setup, just apparently not for rendering.

Might buy a second video card if i decide its too slow, any reccomendations?
