Science is incompatible with religion. Religion raises humanity from the ashes, provides meaning and purpose and defines man and civilization. Science is a way to measure the shit our animal side senses. What you're looking for is invalid and self-serving, and is the reason you are depressed. If you love science, actually study something interesting that will make you a better person. The second you realize this you be that much more of a fucking adult.

This is correct and the sooner one realizes it, the better off they will be. I'd like to think they could be reconciled, but serving two different and relevant purposes is already a more productive way to see things.

Religion makes assertions, and then fails to prove them, but pointing out that someone has a burden of proof they have failed to meet is not the same thing as disproving them.

Read up on Philosophy of Science, Falsifiability, and the Scientific Method. Don't try to argue something that's incorrect; you'll fall at the first hurdle.
