You want anime, but no "annoying weeb shit"? The fuck are you expecting out of this medium? You'll have a hard time finding things you like if you don't want trashy fanservice, high school settings, harems, or slice of life.

Go watch some classics. Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion. Then watch some obviously western-influenced stuff like Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Kekkai Sensen, and Space Dandy. Death Parade is also good but has no action in it.

All Might from boku no hero dies at the end of the first season.

Akane from psycho pass becomes an enforcer because her psycho pass gets ruined.

Cowboy Bebop ends with the main character dying.

jing king of bandits. short adaption of a much better manga series but loveable none the less

Ruruoni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen. It's an OVA, about two hours long in total. Honestly one of the best movies I've ever watched, not just anime.
