WHY THE FUCK WONT MY REVERSE SSH TUNNEL WORK
basically i want to host a server on my computer which tunnels through an EC2 instance that my friends can connect to. I can't port forward. I'm using putty on win and centos6 on the ec2
>>278562
VLC host
>>278563
VLC client connected directly to host
(to prove that that part works)
>>278564
VLC client (attempted) connect to ec2
>>278562
im not sure if the tunnel is connecting properly, i've seen nothing with netstat on ec2
also putty log
> I can't port forward
then this is a hopeless attempt.

Try checking both checkboxes (local and remote ports) in that >>278562 port forwarding dialog.
