I think there's some sort of acting/comedy term for the sort of offscreen reply gag Kazuma always does. I can't for the life of me find or remember what it is. Anyone got any ideas?

Breaking the 4th wall?

Not really. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPSg5az635I here's an example.

It's more of an ad-lib reply rather than being a tsukkomi or breaking the 4th wall.

If you're talking strictly about the response whenever his name is called, that would be more of a running gag since they do it all the time now. It's akin to subverting expectations because no one really expects a declaring response when calling someone's name. I'd also label it as passive comedy because of how they just brush over it. Kinda like if you had a new product and you were listing it's features, if you present the coolest feature like it's no big deal it gives it a pretty strong impact to people actually paying attention to it.

Yeah I'm like 90% sure I found a single Japanese word term for that like 2 weeks ago but not I can't remember it.
In manzai terms Kazuma is mostly a tsukkomi and those replies are definitely tsukkomi lines, but I don't know if there's a more specific term for that particular type. Those lines by Kazuma remind me of Tsuda from Seitokai Yakuindomo, who sometimes does shit like that.
I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A SEASON 2 OF KONOSUBA
