How do i open the command prompt from inside a folder, and have it point to that same directory? I may need several ways of doing this. I need this for ffmpeg.
I've exhausted the shift+right-click trick, doesn't work for me.

"Extended" in
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\cmd
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell\cmd
right click on dir will show you the option now

Those are keys for the registry. Open cmd and type 'regedit', that will open the registry editor.
Search for the keys and change the value of the like it is mentioned in the reply.

Christ, you ass. You asked how to do it, you get the answer, and now you're like "Geeee I dunno..."
Fuck you man. This is why I stopped trying to help you faggots in the first place.

Go up one directory from the target folder and shift right click the folder.

Disregard this.

It's fine the change the registry. I do it all the time. But of course be carefull. Make a backup if you really don't trust yourself editing it.

Do you have your mouse reversed or something?
>>278637
No wait, it is shift + right click. It's 1:00AM, and I'm retarded right now.
>>278204
is that the only way to do it, though? avoiding modification of the registry is not bad practice

When you shift+right click you MUST click on a blank area and not on a file.
